January 8, 2018
Dear Residents, families and employees,
2017 was a great year! It was filled with many traditions that I was lucky enough to be a part of for the first time, such as our annual Wizard of Oz trail of treats. It was full of firsts, such as our first Dancing with the Seniors event. We had a great annual survey this year as well! I would like to thank all of the staff for their hard work as we continue to strive to make each day better than the last for our residents!
January is always everyone’s favorite month to begin a new resolution. Whether it to find a new job, fall in love, drop a few pounds or drink more water. As I contemplate what goals I would like to reach in 2018, I encourage everyone to keep the simple things in life in perspective. Smile more. Call family more often. Be gracious to strangers. Pray often. Do one good deed every day. Help those in need. Strive to make the world better. Look for the good in people. Love yourself and others.
Please remember my door is always open whether it is to address a concern or to take note of a praise. I encourage you to speak your praises as much as your complaints in the year 2018. We too often take time to complain but not enough time to tell someone “good job” or “thank you.” Good luck the rest of the year! As always, thank you for all you do!
Cheers,
Lindsay Turner,
Administrator
