On June 23 each year we celebrate National Hydration Day! National Hydration Day began in honor of football coach Victor Hawkins, who invented a hydrating mouthguard for his players to use while playing on the football field.
Proper hydration is vital to living a long healthy life, but it’s often overlooked due to the regular hustle and bustle of the day. Carrying a water bottle can make a huge difference in your summer health, and may also help protect from dehydration, heat stroke, and other dangerous issues. It is never too late to start taking better care of your hydration!
Whether you’re a casual exerciser, or someone who loves to spend time outside in the warm sun, drinking water is the way to go. Celebrating National Hydration Day is a great way to make a lifestyle change and raise awareness!
