Meet our New Administrator Lindsay Turner!
I want to take this opportunity to introduce myself. My name is Lindsay Turner and as of July 24th, 2017 I have had the pleasure of being Henderson Nursing and Rehab’s Administrator.
Born and raised in Ohio Co, KY, I graduated from Western Ky University in Bowling Green, KY in 2013 with a B.S. in Healthcare Administration with a focus in Long Term Care. I have been a CNA for over 10 years and have been with our company for 2.5 years. I was the Business Office Manager at Fordsville Nursing and Rehab for 2 years. And was the Administrator in Training at Twin Rivers for 6 months.
I have worked directly with patients and residents in a variety of different settings—skilled nursing, hospital, home health, etc, but my heart always lead me back to LTC. I feel an overwhelming responsibility to advocate for the aging population and believe it was my calling and a pleasure to help insure each and every resident receives the most adequate care possible.
I have been married to my high school sweetheart, Nathan for 8 years now and we reside in Owensboro, KY. We have 2 sons, Talen, whom is 8 and Paxton whom is 4. They are both great kids—most days! We have a 1 year old Dachshund named Ralphie. He likes to chew on momma’s shoes! But he’s otherwise a great dog. And we have Hamilton, the cat. He was a rescue cat. He was outside in the cold when I worked at Fordsville and I begged my husband to let me keep him. He wasn’t too keen to the idea until I brought him home and he’s been ours ever since. I found him—but I like to think he really found us!
I am the only girl in a house full of boys! But I don’t mind—I like being the queen of my castle!
If you take away anything from this letter, it’s very important to me that you know that I have an open door policy. Anytime you have a praise, concern or problem, I am only a visit or phone call away. Whether you are a resident, employee or family member, I truly want your experience at Henderson Nursing and Rehab Center to not only meet but exceed your expectations. Thank you for welcoming me to the facility thus far. It is greatly appreciated! If there is anything you need from me, please let me know. I will be glad to help in any way I can.
Sincerely,
Lindsay Turner
Administrator
